Greece Holiday Tour

As a reward for finally graduating from college, my parents presented me with the gift of a Greece Holiday. We, meaning our family of four, were all going together on the dream vacation of a lifetime! This would be the first time we’d vacationed as a family in years, which would make our holiday tour of Greece extra-special. Half the fun was in the planning. We each got to pick an island in the Ionian group that we’d most like to see. My mom chose Athens because we’d be landing there first anyway, and she’d always wanted to visit the Propylea, the Parthenon and the Acropolis. My dad chose Kefalonia due to its quiet, rustic ambience, and my brother chose Corfu most likely because he could spell it. I picked Zakynthos. To me, the name itself has a certain mystique, and the beaches look spectacular. Now, our mission is make this monumental Greek Holiday Tourhappen!Fortunately, my dad works with a guy who travels to Greece a lot. He told my dad about this online travel agency that specializes in Greece holiday tours and Greek Island-Hopping excursions. So, my mom went online and made arrangements. It was so simple! The travel experts inquired as to what we wanted to see and do, how much time we could spend and our budget constraints. Bingo! They handled everything from our airline tickets to limousine service, hotel reservations tickets to museums and other activities, to vehicle rental, transfers and even breakfast each morning. The online agency even set us up with an English-speaking guide and driver!

Twelve days and eleven nights in the gorgeous Ionian Islands! Could a Greece Holiday Tour possibly be more exquisite? I doubt it. It was a vacation I will never forget.

Thank you, Greece Tour Experts!

A Greece Holiday in the North Aegean

After 20 miserable years of marriage, my husband and I have, at long last, called it quits. Well actually, he called it quits, but if he hadn’t –I would have. My attorney beat up his attorney in court, so to celebrate; I’ve decided to take myself on a well-deserved and luxurious holiday in Greece. My ex was too cheap to take me anywhere, so now I plan to make up for his lack of imagination and motivation by treating myself! If I don’t, who will?

I went online and looked up the Greece holiday travel experts whom everyone is raving about. I wasn’t quite sure what part of Greece I wanted to explore, and the online travel geniuses were more than happy to help me decide. They assisted in planning my itinerary based on my interests, time frame and budget.  Before too long, we decided that the perfect Greece Holiday for me was a vacation in the Northern Aegean islands of Greece! Twelve days of sightseeing and touring Athens, Samos, Chios, and Lesvos (also known as Lesbos and Mytilene), will be perfectly sublime, and just what I need.

The online travel agents made all the arrangements, so I didn’t have to lift a finger. My airline tickets, transfers, limousine service, car rental, hotel reservations, ferries and tickets to everything I’d ever want to see on my Greece holiday were taken care of by the friendly and professional travel guys. My only responsibility was arriving at the airport on time! No wonder everyone I know uses these online experts.

Well, let me tell you: I had the most marvelous time on my Greece holiday. The second night I witnessed the most spectacular sunset over the Aegean Sea while touring the Temple of Poseidon in Athens. On the island of Chios, I found the Byzantine Museum and the Philip Argenti Gallery to be simply fabulous.

The most unusual experience of my Greece Holiday occurred at the monastery in the midpoint of Chios. As a reminder of a late 1800’s massacre, and among a charming area of buildings, were the skulls of martyred monks—displayed for all to see.

The island of Lesvos was and absolute paradise; the way one might picture the Garden of Eden.

To the fantastic travel gods of Greece Holidays, I say, “Sas ef̱charistó̱ pára polý !”
